one my favorite book during medical school
if you master it, you don't have to read another pathology book
if you master it, you don't have to read another pathology book
This is the gold standard for pathology. Seriously. I'm working with pathologists at the moment, and even they tell me so. It's fundamental for learning pathology in med school. Of course, there are more advanced books if you decide to become a pathology resident. But this is more than sufficient for a med student learning pathology. there is just one problem with this book. IT'S TOO HEAVY. my shoulder muscles got hypertrophied from carrying it around in my satchel to class. as a result my body is no longer symmetrical because i usually let the left shoulder alone to suffer. (<--- kidding)

the best medical book I've ever read
A classic read, real page turner.

you'd think this was some dry, informative, educational text on pathology but it's laced with quips, tongue in cheek comments on the immune system, cellular interactions via cytokines, obesity, even cancer. i highly recommend this text.
this book is dense, but it has pretty good descriptions of how diseases affect your body, which is good when you are seeing those diseases in real life too. i recommend having a good teacher too...unfortunately i don't
name a disease--there's anywhere from 2-50 pages on it in this book. Sometimes I read it just for fun. Mostly, though, I read because I have homework.

i love how i have perverted this website for leisure reading with the book that with its very existence denies me any time for leisure reading.
Gak cuma buat pre tes Patologi Anatomi, tapi juga bisa buat bantal. Hahaha.. Saya suka buku ini. Bahasa Inggrisnya enak dibaca.
Let's just say this book will probably run my life for the next 2 years of med school.
