This is the first Cooper book I've read and I'll definitely look for some more by her. The Vegas location was fun and the characters were well drawn. It's an entertaining easy read with a good plot. The only issue I had with this book was when the main character stated prostitution is legal in Vegas. If she had done her research, she'd know prostitution is not legal in Clark County where Las Vegas is.

I enjoy all of Susan Rogers Cooper's 'Milt Kovack' series. Great audio book series to listen to while doing other things.

I really like this series, but it has some crude language, so I can't give it more stars. A great interaction between the sheriff and his psychiatrist wife.
