I really liked the first book and must have liked the second one enough (though I can't remember it), but I just COULD NOT get into this one.
The main reason? Evie. I don't remember her being this annoying. I know she has always been a bit "blonde," but I could have sworn I use to think it was kind of charming. I don't understand why she was so dense that she couldn't see the message Raquel was trying to send her, and there were some instances that blatantly obvious hints totally went over her h...more

Kiersten White has been one of my favorite authors since the first book in this trilogy, Paranormalcy. Now, almost 2 years later, she still holds that title. In fact, I dare say Endlessly is the strongest installment in the trilogy. I'm torn between the first book and this one.
From the get-go, Endlessly is packed with laughs. I was cracking up by the time I finished the first sentence. Imagine when I hit page 3. My stomach hurt from laughing. Safe to say the laughing died out eventually when the...more

Oh wow.
Evie has come a long way since we first met her in Paranormalcy (book 1) where she worked for the International Paranormal Containment Agency (IPCA) and was just beginning to figure out her dark past that was entertwined with a faerie prophecy. As she learns the truth about herself, we experience Evie’s betrayal as she discovers who she really is. Her relationship progresses with Lend, a sweet shapeshifter that’s always been by her side, and her stalker faerie ex-boyfriend, Reth.

Where do I begin? I loved the Paranormalcy series, but in my opinion it had some pretty serious flaws that I found impossible to overlook. To be fair to my rating I should note that by the time I read Endlessly it has been nearly a year since I've read Paranormalcy and Supernaturally. Still, that doesn't excuse everything that was wrong with this book. I did love it, but I also believe that it could have been much better.

With ENDLESSLY Kiersten White delivers a highly entertaining, fast paced, engaging read.
Kiersten White you bleeping rock! I could not have asked for a better ending to one of my all time favorite paranormal series. When a series you love ends, it's like going through a break up. You grieve for the things you want to have, but can't and cherish/enjoy the things you loved while it lasted. In all honestly there are some books who are last in a series I still haven't read, because I don't want to a...more

The cover is absolutely gorgeous, and do you know what makes this even better? I just checked the publication date: July 24, 2012. And, while this does mean I have to wait a year for this book, I am just to freaking happy, because THAT'S MY BIRTHDAY!!!!! HAPPY SEVENTEENTH BIRTHDAY TO ME!! THIRD INSTALLMENT OF THE Paranormalcy Trillogy RELEASED ON MY BIRTHDAY! *fangirl scream*

*Sigh* I am so bleeping sad that the Paranormalcy Trilogy is over. I was lucky enough to obtain an ARC of ENDLESSLY through my agent Michelle Wolfson's Wolf Pack ARC Tour. But the fact that Kiersten is an agency sister plays no bearing on my delight in reading ENDLESSLY and my disappointment that it's over.

"...when you are happy, you don't do anything! If you are content, the rest of the world and those who need you fall away into the background."
This sums up a pretty big flaw about Evie, and why I find her unlikable and irritating. I know she's supposed to be a fluffy, sparkling, pink-loving character but she seems so SHALLOW and selfish to me. Although she does try and justify her reasons for selfishness.

Evie - pink, girly, kick ass and wicked funny
Truly one of the highlights in this series was the main character Evie - she was hilarious and made me *bleeping* laugh so many times. Even when the situation was dire, Evie made me laugh! Clearly, Evie is Kiersten White's masterpiece. But although Evie was strong and a fighter, she was also vulnerable, a girl searching for a family, for a place to belong and for love. What a delightful little gem of a book Endlessly was! As my favorite book in the trilogy and the perfect ending ever, Endlessly was just awesome and I am very anxious to see what is next for Kiersten White.
These books are probably the most light-hearted, fun paranormals out there, and Endlessly is no exception! Kiersten White takes readers on a roller coaster in this one and kept me guessing until the last page. The stakes are high in Endlessly and I was on the edge of my seat, dying to know ho...more

Evie is sooooooooooo stupid, weak, pathetic, whiny, and just an all around bitch.
I liked the first book and could even tolerate Evie then but she just got lower and more pathetic as this series went along.
It was hard for me to actually finish this book. And I normally have decent opinions of books or choose good books so I rarely have to rate them this lowly...the only books I had rated in such a manner thus far were:
1. Fallen Series (1 star)
2. Fifty Shades of Grey (1 star)
3. Fifty Shades Freed...more

I really liked this book. I think that it was a really good end to the book series. It had drama and anticipation because it always kept you guessing. The main character is named Evie and she falls in love with a half oral half water element boy named Lend. All of the paranormal want her to open a gate to their world in which they were taken from by the fairies. They have always been trying to find a way back however they never could because they never knew how to open the gate until now. In the...more
While I was disappointed with the last book wasn't really looking forward to reading this book. However I would say that it was better. I enjoyed certain parts and was quite excited when it started out with a dragon. (I love dragons.) The dragon wasn't important to the story and that was disappointing. I have also realized that while I liked Evie's character in the first book I don't care for her at all by the end of the third. Her character isn't dynamic, she is still the same annoying girl tha...more
This was a satisfying ending to a series I would readily hand to any high school girl. There are definitely flaws--the romance is pretty sappy during much of the book, it drags with too many plot points (and not enough development on most of them), and how the heck does a 17 year-old girl stay up for, what, a week straight without any sleep without collapsing?--but they don't detract much. Also, Evie is incredibly selfish and annoying at times, but I'm of the opinion that it's good for a protago...more

What the actual fuck!
Ok I finished this a few days ago, i'm trying to make my mind up about it. I've decided it was joke.
Starting at the ending.
No. Just no. Can some one tell me why a decision had to be made up to Lend? Why couldn't the both just go through? That would of made sense. Lends mother would if been there. Not like Evie has parents on earth?
And Reth ;( you stupid bitch! You claimed you loved him and he admitted he loved you and you still chose the boring...more

Evie would like to think that she's just a normal 17 year-old girl with normal 17 year-old girl problems, but that's not really the case. She is an "empty one", a young woman with less soul than others, capable of sucking the souls from Paranormals. She has an awesome boyfriend, Lend, who can morph himself into pretty much what ever he wants. She lives with a Vampire Arianna, who happens to be her best friend. She's doing normal girl stuff with her vampire best friend, when all of a sudden the n...more
A complicated conclusion to a complicated series. The first book, so snarky and slightly frivolous was extremely witty, although the second one covered much darker territory. This is necessary as Evie learned more about her origins and her role in the fate of the paranormal world.
So it goes without saying that 'Endlessly' is even darker, more tense and builds to a thrilling resolution. I have to confess to being quite frustrated with Evie early in this book. She refused to listen to what Lend's...more

The clock is ticking on the entire paranormal world. And its fate rests solely in Evie's hands.
The 3rd and last book in the paranormalcy series finds Evie in a race against time to save the paranormal world. i liked this book. with the last book Supernaturally, I wasnt really sure if this was going to be one of those trilogies that went on a steady decline into "boy-crazy land" after the first book.

What an end to the series! Fast and fun, exactly like Evie. As everything builds to the final moments in this book, it becomes Evie concentrated, with all her personality coming through full force. But at the same time, she's changed since the beginning of the series in very slight, subtle ways. She definitely takes more responsibility for her actions in this book than she does in the first - though Reth doesn't seem to th...more

I do like this series. I like a female character with female problems and talks like an actual teenager (I see them every day, so I have full knowledge of true teenager speak). So when I say this understand--Evie is too much a teenager. Her quip for everything can get really annoying on older people reading the books. O course the irony is that I did like it for the same reasons.
I also of course love Reth. To me, he was honestly my favorite because he was real. He never admitted he was perfect,...more

This is the third book in the Paranormalcy trilogy. Evie has again discovered that her role as the "Empty One" was not yet complete. Raquel is no longer a Supervisor at IPCA, and danger seems to be everywhere. Faeries, humans, the other paranormals—everyone seems to have an agenda for how they need Evie. Evie just wants to be a normal seventeen year old and enjoy her senior year. She has to come to terms with the fact that many lives rest in her hands (or should I say souls could rest within her...more

I can tell Kiersten White put a lot of hard work into this book and I appreciate that. I can now say that I have read the best book in the world written by the best author in the world as well. In this last one, it felt as if Evie had no clue on what she is doing. She wanders around a lot and is forced into motion via other characters. When the others approach her for help, she dismisses them not wanting to help them because she’s jaded. Of course, there’s valid reasons why she feels this way, but the way she comes off is very generic so it makes her sound more self-absorbed and selfish rather than being the victim of a cruel world. Her emotions through this book were campy...more
