I thought it was funny when Dot Calm wore a fake mustache as a disguise to make Josh think she didn't steal the lottery ticket. I really like mystery stories.
Angela
This is my favorite A to Z Mystery.

Ron Roy dropped a lot of misleading clues which made the mystery even better to solve!

This is one of the least plausible stories in the A to Z Mysteries series. It's a fun and exciting tale, but not very realistic. And the word play with one of the characters in the story (Dorothy "Dot" Calm) is just plain silly.

Reading about skiing and snow storms in Hawaii in August was pretty refreshing; you couldn't quite imagine the snow, but at least it didn't seem so hot!

In any case, our girls love these stories and we are slowly working our way through the alphabet.

This book had a little bit of a twist but it is very good

I am reading books from the series A-Z Mysteries by Ron Roy with my sons. There is one mystery book for each letter of the alphabet. We don't have them all and aren't reading them in any particular order. We just finished the Lucky Lottery, which is our least favorite so far, probably because prior to reading the book, the kids didn't know what a lottery was. So the book lacked the urgency of others in the series, especially those involving animals. It was still a good read for the boys though.

This was one of my favorite A to Z mystery books!

The book Lucky Lottery is a very good book. This book is about 3 children named Dink, Josh , and Roth Rose and they have won the lottery but not yet they have found out that the lottery ticket is stolen but luckily they catch the crook ,and this time it is a woman, and she gets put to justice. This book changed my prospective of stealers. Although i didn't like them before now even worse.
