I think this would be a great book for younger children as each page only has a couple words on it and the font is fairly large. The vibrant illustrations are fun to look at and they are simple enough to follow what is going on in the picture. The book also rhymes which allows for the story to be easily followed for the children. I think this would be a great book to introduce students about different members of the family.

This is a simple story about families and the activities they do - good for vocabulary building. The sentence structure is the same throughout the book, so it would be better for a younger audience.
This will be good for "My family" units. It shows Bear's family members each doing something (sewing, dancing, picking plums....) at Bear's home. Double spread illustrations in a bright cartoony style are a cheerful accompaniment to the spare rhyming text.
