Taking a look at the synopsis, you might expect this book to make less sense than it does. Yes, there is a time travelling dinosaur involved, so it is a weird story, but it's very well put together. There's a lot more focus on the inventive ways the near future world of Elias works and the drama involving Elias's family takes the forefront. The story line was a little choppy. I kind of liked the whole idea of it all but it struggled bringing it all together.
