Although I really like Mrs. Andreola style of education and have use many ideas for her book "The Gentle Art of Learning", I found this book to be a little light on content. It assumed an interest on the part of the student and that they would naturally get the information when presented. This was not the case with my student, naturally gifted in many areas, grammer just isn't one of them and since grammar doesn't come naturally to me I found it a difficult text to use with little or no re enfor ...more

Recommends it for: homeschoolers of multiple ages in elementary & middle school
I found this book had nice short and sweet grammar lessons, but at times, I the mom and teacher needed a bit more explanation to understand some of the more complex grammar. I used it for my 5th grader and 7th grader last year quite a bit.
