Coffee table books are frightfully costly, but a beautiful tome like this one is worth it. I bought it as a gift for my wife for Christmas and she loves it. Stone walls, boxwood hedgerows, peonies, perennials of all sorts … a fishpond here and there, a pergola perhaps, draped with wisteria … in the middle of winter what could be more pleasurable than a big book of gorgeous pictures of gorgeous gardens?
