Having grown up in a proddy part of Dublin during the 60s and 70s, Gerry Adams was not a popular character for family and friends and Sinn Fein received little positive press. My opinions of Adams have changed signidicantly since then as this brief statement of essentially the Sinn Fein party manifesto is clear and fairly appealing. The demise of the Celtic Tiger may delay some of the more idealistic programs described here, but Adams presents a well-reasoned approach to a peaceful and ...more
