I pick up these silly self-help books from time to time -- usually they're pathetic and snake-oily; sometimes they're genuinely inspiring and smart. This one -- which I remembered was mentioned in David Allen's classic "Getting Things Done" -- is a decent one, extending the titualar metaphor as far as it can go in zen territory. I'm still reading it in "drips" when I go to bed each night. (Maybe my dreams are achieving nirvana, I don't know...but it's not really transforming my waking life in an ...more

Some of the lines were simply magnificent.
For ex."fake it till you make it", run to feel the difference and do not care about the results were some practically acceptable and valuable advice.
The way he has illustrated the importance of yoga and meditation were inspiring.
A good book to spend some valuable time.
Easy to read and the quotations mentioned were perfect for a wonderful work.

Great book ... just a great book ! The concept of water features and power being in mind when we think is adding positive reasons to our thinking. No room for being negative.
