this book is woth reading! these kids are so intelligent! "The bad beginning" has dangers at every turn. The book starts out with three kids, Violet who is the oldest and she invents things, Klaus the middle child, he reads a lot and Sunny the baby, she likes to bite things. Their parents die in a tragic house fire. Their parent's will states that they must live with a relative near their home. The only relative known to leave near them was Count Olaf. Did you ever read a book that you didn't like but you kept on
reading it? This is exactly how i felt about this book. This book broke my heart, made me angry, and kind related to me.

The first reason why i dislike this book is because it broke my heart. This tree kids look like their lives when down hill after their parents died. They moved with a so called family member and they don't even get treated right all he wants is their money. They all sleep in the same room.

This made me...more

The Baudelaire children were at Briny Beach, and received bad news that their parents had died in a fire at their house. The children get a new guardian Count Olaf. He is a distant relative who's job is being an actor. they are all treated horribly by their new guardian, making them do all his cooking and cleaning and giving them only one bed to sleep in.
Olaf comes up with a plan to marry so that he could have the fortune of the kids parents.
I thought that the book was alright. I didn't real...more

This book is about three kids whos parents died in a tragic fire to their house. There parents made a fortune and all the money would go to the oldest daughter. They had no relitives that they were really close to so they had to stay with there uncle that they have never met before. He was trying to steal the money but no one knew that besides the children. The children kept on trying to tell people but no one would listen.

What a quick read! I read this book in under 24 hours.
I am taking this series with a grain of salt and reading them for pure entertainment only, so I won't be going into any in-depth review of this book as I don't think that was intended when written. Some books are just meant to be enjoyed and not disected.

I love this book cause it is off the chains and knuckles. It is written by a counter-active and freaky dude names Lemony Snicket. He plays the music 2 a story of 3 unfortunate lives of 3 brilliant and kind children

I loved the series, it was a little obsessive on the whole "this is not a happy book" but I think that the books are very interesting and much better than a lot of kids books uot there today.

I thought the whole series was very good but in some parts, Lemony Snicket would addd an excessive amount or detail and it was hard to keep on track. Overall the book was good.
