بينوايان هميشه برام بحز از بوي بچگيو و كمي ترس
هميشه اون فداكار بودن ان رو به همراه داره و آداب زدنگي كردن با قانون آمد بودن يعني آزمون و خطاو سعي براي برگشت .

روایت یه داستان دستمایه میشه برای اینکه هوگو تمام احوالات فرهنگی اجتماعی و فردی جامعه فرانسه قرن نوزدهم رو به تصویر بکشه ... راستی مخرج مشترک بازرس ژاور و ژان والژان شرافت بود.کاراکتر ژاور برای من این بیت مولانا رو تداعی میکنه که: سختگیری و تعصب خامی است

من ترجمه ی حسینقلی مستعان را خوانده ام، هنوز هم یکی از رویاهای من خواندن مجدد این شاهکار است، مخصوصا شعرها، حیف از خودم که فرانسه نمیدانم و نمی توانم از متن اصلی شعرها لذت ببرم، حسودی من را کسانی که این زبان ادبی را میدانند بپذیرند تو ای غایت تصور، فقط تو پایداری

All truly educated people.
Of all of Victor Hugo's great books, this one stands out as the most philosophically relevant. Ursus and Homo, man and wolf - trudging through the 18th Century and narrating a love story between two outcasts. If you haven't read it, find a copy and comfortable chair, you're in for an eye-opening experience! I believe that the text can be had for free from the project Gutenberg - on the net.
