Quite an amazing book but packed with far too many details!! I was overwhelmed with the plethora of theories and tantalizing evidence regarding the foundations of Christianity and the historical Jesus. However, I actually found the parts about the Knights Templar and the Dark Ages to be the most interesting. (Politics have not changed much, that is for sure.) Truth can be very "elastic."

Great book for anyone who is interested in Freemasonry and alternative views of Christian rituals. It sort of like the DaVinci Code, but instead of DaVinci's paintings, the answers lie in the rituals of the Freemasons. Warning- they make some leaps with their connections, but that's to be expected, right. Makes you think and question your assumptions about religion- good for discussion.

Forget The Davinci Code; this is what it is really all about and how the secrets are being maintained by The Freemasons. Full of fascinating historical context that sheds incredible light on the history of western peoples.

I don't really appreciate Masonic conspiracies. But if you do... go for it.
