Major Alex Jansen has always had to quell the fire Janey Mackay ignites in him. Even touching her would mean death by the Mackay men. Until now, the girl of his dreams has lived in a vacuum of affection, shying away from the danger she thinks men represent thanks to her painful past. But when someone starts leaving Janey spine-chilling notes, Alex won't rest until she's co ...more

Another scorcher in the 'Nauti' series--this one's sure to set off the smoke alarms! Virginal Janey Mackay and uber-alpha Special Forces Major Alex Jansen are one smokin' hot couple, and it doesn't take them long to get down to business. Of course, Alex has had his eye on Janey since she was seventeen, but he was 31, so anything happening between them was out of the question. But she's a 23 year old woman now, and yeah, he's an older man of 37, but she's no longer jail-bait, and this 'thing' bet ...more

Get out your fire extinguisher! "Nauti Intentions" by Lora Leigh will leave you in a sweat. Her stories feature hard-core Alphas who don't let anything stand in the way of 'taking care' of their women. They aren't mean, they aren't cruel...but they also leave no doubts about who runs the show.

Janey is trying to settle into life back in her hometown and get to know her big brother Natches. She's also trying to recover from the horrible incident that left her nearly dead, her wicked father and dem
I think I agree with a lot of other reviewers that this is probably the best in the series so far. I liked the story overall...the romance, the characters, the story, etc. All in all, a very engaging story.

Series note:
Probably best to rest this series in order.

Janey's Mackay's life has been hell. Growing up with an evil, abusive father, she saw the worst of life. Now, after a big showdown, she's finally free of her father's evil influence and ready to move on with her life. She decides t

This book was sexy hot! It burned my finger-tips! Alex and Janey definitely had some steam between them. They had quite the sex life. However, it wasn't just all sex in this book (though at times it seemed like it). There was a pretty decent plot to this one as well. I felt in the first book, Nauti Boy, that the suspense, was contrived and didn't fit with the story. This one didn't feel that way. It was a much better story.

At first I thought the villian was pretty easy to figure out but I was w

I wanted to like this book as I have all the others in the series, but this book stunk. I ended up skimming a majority of the book. First of all I have no problem with a big age difference. I believe true love finds you no matter what your age. Janey is 23 and Alex is 38. However the way Alex and her ENTIRE FAMILY treats her AND the way she herself acts, you would think she was 17. Janey is immature, has no self esteem and thinks of every male in her family as a "protector". Even still calling h ...more
For the most part, I enjoyed this erotic-romantic suspense that is a continuation in the "Nauti series" (#4). It includes the characters from the earlier books and their wives, but in minor rolls--except for Natches. He plays a fairly large roll in this one and, unfortunately, his character got on my nerves. He was constantly arguing with his sister over her life and the restaurant. Constantly.

The two main h/h (Alex and Janey) were neat to follow. They had the hots for each other for 6 years, bu
Lora Leigh's alpha males are definately my guilty pleasure!

Now this is my favourite of the series. As always i love when we get to the sister story and Janey is amazing. She is so strong and independent. But has always lived with her fathers issues and what people have perceived her to be because of his actions. Now, Major Alex Jansen, ooohhhhh i love him. He is the towns hero, in all areas. Everyone loves him. After Alex helped to save Janey, then disappeared back to war, he is back, and tries

Nauti Intentions started out good, but ended up falling flat for me. I felt that Alex and Janey were a bit underdeveloped. I thought their attraction to each other was genuine, but it didn't go past lust for me. Janey was looking for love because she had to hide any emotions she felt from her father or he would use it against her. Alex was a hard man who didn't believe in love. Honestly, I felt that Janey was willing to settle and deserved better. Alex wasn't a bad man by any means, but
Holy smoking smexxy red hot spontaneous combusting Kindle melting... Wow! Best book yet in the series. I started it at 10pm and finished it this morning. Oops! not much sleep! It was that good.

There are enough reviews on here to get the gist of the story. Leigh got the chemistry down on this pair. Alex and Janie burn up the pages during this erotic romantic thriller. Look forward to lots of sex. Graphic. A variety of variations, in different places, including up against the wall.

I almost didn't
This book is amazing.. The lead female is beautifully damaged. By that I mean she is damaged and doesn't complain about it. All the stuff she endured has made her stronger. The lead male is delicious. So strong and dominating and if you enjoy dirty talk this will become an all time favorite. All their imperfections are perfect. Loved the plot and all the side characters.

I think this is the best "Nauti" book yet. I really like Alex. He is a hard-boiled soldier but with a tender heart when it comes to his friends and Janey (his friends little sister). Alex is 14 years older than Janey but she's wanted him since she was 17 and believe me the feeling was mutual except he felt like a pervert because of the age difference. But now that she's 23, all bets are off. The scorching hot sex scenes actually made me blush. WOW.

This one has a great storyline as well as the st

This book sucked. The general plotline was okay and the mystery had promise but overall the book was just bad. Mainly it was the sex scenes( which were the literary equivalent of bad pizza boy delivery porn) but it was also the way the male characters treated the female protagonist. She was a 24 year-old woman and they treated her like she was 12. The entire male cast was full of sexist pigs set on controlling and dominating the main character like she was a toy. The male protagonist made fun of ...more

these are defintely getting better with each book. as i've said before, 'this was my favorite of the series'. i've still got one left and i think it's rogue and zeke.

i've always liked alex this whole series and was anxious to see who he would get paired up with. i loved janey. i think her relationship with natches was almost as important to me as her relationship with alex.

how many crazy people can be from one county though? seriously! oh well, i love it. i hope more crazy people crawl out from
Looks like I read this book out of order and I've decided after reading this book that I'm getting the other ones today. The entire book was full of suspense, comedy and hot and steamy chemistry between Alex and Janey, sister to Natches.

The book starts off on a fast pace when Alex and Natches rescue Janey from their father. Their father was using her as a pawn to make Natches do what he wanted. This backfired but ultimately left Janey with post traumatic syndrome. Nathches leaves her for a few m
Read out of order, but don't think this would have made a differnce. Didn't really care for Alex very much. It was disturbing that a man in his late 30's was lusting after a 23 year old woman for 6 or 7 years. Kind of creepy. He seemed to use Janey, a woman with very little experience with men as a toy and he really seemed to manhandle her. Nope, didn't care for this.

"You own me". Three little words no woman should want to hear or say! This is the worst one yet for more reasons than I can list. The names change, barely, but the (stupid) plot remains the same. Thank God I'm on the last book in the bundle or I'd quit now...Barnes & Noble I'd like a refund.
Very good continuation of the Nauti series. Janey is Natches younger sister. He is very protective. So when one of his team shows more than just casual interest, he is very upset. But Alex has been wanting Janey since she was 17 years old - now she is 23 years old and a woman with her own mind.
Trashy Katie
I couldn't make it past the second chapter. That's all it took for the consent issues and the asshole hero to make the book unreadable.

The heroine is the victim of sexual assault and spent most of her life alone and isolated. So the hero tells her they can do "whatever you want to do." She understandably freaks out during their first kiss. She asks him to leave and he DOES NOT LEAVE. He then tells her what she is feeling is perfectly natural and he is the perfect person to help her overcome her
A good story with a lot of steamy sex.

Alex Jansen has been in love with Janey Mackay ever since she was seventeen but, since he is fourteen years older than she, he thinks he is too old for her. This all changed when he came back from an assignment in Iraq with a bullet wound to heal and saw her again. He knew he had to have her but her brother Natches would kill him if he touched her. They didn’t count on Janey, who had been in love with Alex forever.

I really liked this one. Alex is my new fantasy love. I couldn't get over how hot the "parking" scene was and how gentle yet full of fire their first time together was.
So, I was going to treat myself to this after I finished writing for the day but of course I picked it up and then couldn't put it down. Yummy.
I think this was the best one of the series so far.

So, I pretty much loved this book. Everything about it. From the older hero and the younger heroine--Alex is 37 and Janey 23--to the steamy goodness that heats up between them to the meddling family that surrounds them. Add in a bit of danger as Janey's life is threatened and I was all in.

The quick of it is that Alex has wanted Janey for years. And she's wanted him just as long but age, family and life have had them keeping their affections hidden from each other but things have changed and Alex

Yeah...I hated Alex. Janey was great -- thus the 4 stars. Wish there was more of Natches (Janey's brother). Speaking of Alex -- he was a Diana Palmer hero want-to-be right down to the "Little Girl you're so fragil I got to protect you and its all your fault that I'm melting here!" mentality. Jeeze this guy acted like his male parts should be in the museum of natural history or something. Way overboard with his ideal of using his "male assets" to keep a woman in line.

The saving grace
Nobody, but nobody, writes steamy like Lora Leigh. She is a master and her books are her masterpieces. The problem arises when I am sick of reading steamy lovescenes. They are the centerpieces of her stories.

In Nauti Intentions, Alex Jansen and Janey McKay are the two steaming between the covers. Alex is part of the Rowdy/Dawg/Natches hometown hero bunch after solving the militia issue in the previous book. In that one, Janey and Natches' father is exposed as the animal he was and was killed, al
Janey is the baby sister of Natches Mackay and after the revelations in Nauti Dreams she is finally able to make a life for herself and make her dreams become reality. Those dreams entail expanding the restaurant of her father and...Alex Jansen, or at least that is what Alex is hoping for, since Janey has been all he's dreamed of since she was eighteen years old.

And those dream are not only about protecting Janey but also contains some heat rising, and most defintely r-rated fantasies. Fantasie
Janey Mackay has picked herself up from the traumatic experience of being violated by her evil aunt and sadistic father. She has decided to turn her father's restaurant into a thriving concern rather than the tawdry front for her traitorous father's activities but she has to overcome the prejudice and blame heaped upon her from the locals. Alex Jansen has been waiting for Janey to grow up before dealing with the backlash that he knows he is going to get from the rest of her testosterone-laden Ma ...more

Book four in the "Nauti" series by Lora Leigh is "Nauti Intentions". It's the story of Janey Mackay (Natches little sister and cousin to "Dawg" and "Rowdy" from the first three books). *some spoilers*
