Nikki Seek comes to the Ozarks in Missouri to find her aunt, Jessie. Jessie went there a few days before to see her ex-husband about a piece of land they both owned. Dexter, her ex-husband, wanted to sell the land to some developers but Jessie was against it. No one was home at Dexter's so Nikki went to bed and the next morning she gets a surprise visit from the local law. Dexter is dead and Jessie is missing. And John McQuinn's best suspect is Nikki.

The night Nikki Seek comes to town happens to be the same night her Uncle is murdered. Nikki's looking for her Aunt, who was supposed to have been sorting out details of some sort with the Uncle that is now dead. And the trouble doesn't stop there!

Leave No Trace is a mystery and suspense that keeps the reader guessing. Add in murder, betrayal and secrets and you've got the plot of Leave No Trace. I found the story to be fairly interesting and it held my interest. I think the characters could hav
