(This is my review for both volumes)
I've always been a fan of the Marvel "What If" and DC "Elseworlds" series of books, so it was interesting to see what Stan "The Man" Lee would have done with the DC universe. Stan Lee, the genius of silver age Marvel comics, recreates DC's most famous heroes.
Stan is very quick to point out that this isn't meant to supplant, or improve upon, the originals in any way, it's simply a fun exercise for him. Well, it's alot of fun to read too. Batman and Superman are especially interesting, and I hope to get the chance to talk about this more in the future.
