Highly recommend to a beginner on their journey with intuitive tarot reading. Also a great book to read if you are a well versed tarot reader, but not so much using your intuitive voice and using the cards more. Well written, well laid out, quick to read through and hold your attention. Also I love the feel of the cover paper stock and it smelled amazing as it came from one of my favorite shops.
For those wishing to build their intuitive reading abilities, this is an excellent book! Nancy Antenucci is a vibrant and creative teacher, in person and in writing. Her exercises are practical and helpful (be sure to make use of the Self-Study Guide at the end in Appendix B). I have successful put away all my LWB's and rely purely on intuition for readings now. I highly recommend this book!
3.5 stars for this one. When she stuck to the topic of tarot, there were a lot of helpful ideas about the imaginative and psychological layers of the cards. The sections on boundaries and psychological parts (inner child work) were especially useful, as were the suggested card spreads. But for me, there were too many detours into spooky and irrelevant topics like communicating with the dead and predicting the contents of envelopes.
