This novel touches on many things, depression, anger, death, murder, love, organizing, but this will come as no surprise to readers of Martin's body of work. She is adept at including social issues and ethics within her books, and this one is no exception. This is a sequel to Love in the Balance, and picks up that story ten years later, focusing on the character of Sharon.

What a great book it is! This book is a sequel of Love In The Balance. I wanted to read it slowly and sovored it, and I enjoyed every minute of it! This book has so many topics that makes you stop and think about them. this is abook to read more than once. Thanks, Marianne. As always a good work.

The biggest problem with this book is that it makes me want to read her other books about the same characters in this book. Doesn't she know how busy I am and how hard they might be to find? I mean, the library workers might go on strike soon!
