My son has a fascination with owls, particularly barn owls. We borrowed this book from our library, and even though he is 10 and it is a picture book, he loved it. The day after he read it, he repeated back to me many of the things he had learned, and talked about it for several days after that. So, I sat down and read it myself!

It really is a wonderful book - full of interesting facts about barn owls told in a story-like way as we learn the basics about how barn owls live. The author, Sally Tag
Informative about the barn owl with great drawings of their beauty.

A gorgeous book, especially for someone who loves nature and birds. I also learned the term "owl window" from this book, so I plan on looking for them when we're near old country barns...
This is a very informative book, especially for children who have an interest in birds. It goes about explaining the life cycle of barn owls in a way that kids can understand clearly.
This is more of a Barn Owl love story. But it is informative with great illustrations.
