A good book to understand his presidency

Did I cry during a presidential biography? Why, yes, I did. After 600 pages, I was definitely attached to Woodrow Wilson. So, yeah, I cried some toward the end.

This one took a long time to get through. The book was a little dry but did pick up once it got to Wilson and WWI. Wilson had his faults and I was a little disapointed with him at times. He tried desperatley to avoid another war, which of course he did not, and he foretold another worse war as the results of the Peace Treaty and of the US not joining the League of Nations. Glad to have it done, feel like I know WIlson a little better, and overall feel he stuck to his guns and tried to get th More...
