This book is hysterical!
For folks who are into Dungeons & Dragons, the pre 3.0 version, Phil's work has been a graphic staple; The Adventures of Phil and Dixie. I always loved Phil's panel strips in the Dragon magazines, and when he did the art work for Myth Adventures graphic novel, it was a must have.
His style is humorous and expressive...and his visual sound effects...the *tink tink* of an object in the aftermath of Aahz (no relation) and Skeeve's first meeting just adds to the ...more

Okay, okay. I read these in elementary and middle school. At the time, I love love loved them. I recently picked one up to look at it again and was, suffice to say, far less enamored with them. 11 year old me gives these 5-plus giant awesome puffy stars. Significantly older me gives them one or two, but I can't defame any books that meant so much to me as a youngster.

One of the silliest readys ever. You'll die laughing. It's is one of the best reads ever. It's a new twist on mages and demons. A great read fo all ages, from 10 to 100.

Volume 1 contained 6 great books. Volume 2 continued that trend for 4 books. Unfortunately, the last 2 didn't live up to the rest of the series.

Kind of a fun read. I remembered it being funnier than it is. Worst proofreading/editing/printing job I've ever seen in a published book.

So far it's so so.... but, I'm only 40 pages into it (it's long).
Young adult lit a-la Harry Potter? We'll see.

Another laugh out loud addition to the Myth adventures. If you enjoyed the first one, this is more of the same.

Love it. I love sci-fi/fantasy that knows it's ridiculous and revels in it. Hilarious.

I love all the books in Asprin's Myth series. They are great humorous light reads.

Very entertaining fantasy spoof. It's along the lines of Discworld.

Clever, though not my favorite example of Foglio's talent.
