This book fell short of Ken Follett's usual excellent storytelling. I found the plot rather contrived and was disappointed by the ending. The character development is also very thin - probably because the book is so thin! I think this is one of his earlier books. If so, he has certainly improved!

Not one of his best, but a good effort. This book takes place in the art world, but there was not enough research done first. Not much excitement either.

A good story about the art underworld. A step up from Clancy. Better writing but less technical cool stuff.
