Great for Halloween--I love the colorful, cartoony illustrations. Perhaps not the best choice before dinner (considering the cafe's menu choices!), but a fun book :-)
I can see how many people might not love this book -- it has some pretty gruesome monsters and monster food in it, but it's funny. The monsters are a little silly here and there, and the rhyming text is fun to anticipate. Every kid I've ever read or handed this book to has loved it. There's your mark of success!
Danny and I have great memories with this book i thought it was really good! When you use your imagination, it can go a long way :)
Dumb child, why would you ever go into a place called "Zombie Nite Cafe" ? You are just asking to be on the menu.
