I bought this book not long after finding out I had PCOS. I casually tried the basic strategies in the book and found that within a couple of weeks my mood, energy, and sugar cravings improved. Took a little longer to see some weight loss, but that was not my primary motivator in trying it. I can tell a difference when I use its methods, so I know it's working.

Really good information and helpful hints about sticking with a low GI diet... easy to read and follow, plus the way they explained things made shopping easier also.

Much more understandable & flexible the than the super low carb diet my Dr wants me to follow...now I just actually have to put it into practice.

This was interesting, but not really any revolutionary ideas. I like how he backed up his ideas with real data and made it interesting to read.
