A journal by a leading LA recording engineer, Mixerman. Details of his recoring session with bidding war band "Bitchslap", a bunch of talentless hacks.
This started as a daily blog on a professional recording website and morphed it's way into this book. People who are mentioned in the daily blogs, (never by their real names of course) eventually discover the blog so this adds an interesting twist to the book.
