Christy’s Review

A Time for Healing is truly an inspirational story. The story is set in Yellow Rose, Texas, a small town with a lot of heart. This wonderful story is about a troubled teen, a heroine that needs forgiveness and a hero that ushers in A TIME FOR HEALING. Tamelia Tumlin spins a delightful tale about God’s forgiveness, grace and ultimate power to heal and move forward after experiencing pain from one’s past. Strong-willed characters grow closer toward God—and each other—in this small Texas town. A++++++, Ms. Tumlin…loved it!

Tamelia Tumlin sold her first story to Dogwood Tales Magazine many years ago while taking a creative writing course in college. The short story titled "The Traveler" was the feature story for that edition. After graduating college in elementary education, life, a teaching career and a wonderful son consumed most of her time. However, in the past couple of years, the yearning to pen fabulous romant ...more
