An Action-Packed Escapist Adventure

Events have been set in motion that, according to prophecy, will culminate in a series of disasters immense in scope and magnitude by the end of 2012. The cataclysm will have physical as well as metaphysical ramifications as the Earth’s polarity will shift and portals will open into other dimensions. Magick will spew onto Earth. Cat is a Priestess who has come from Trinidad, another world. She is a self-reliant, big-hearted, stubborn leader who radiates sexual

On a mission to Japan in this second of the Nightwolves series, while investigating a portal that opened early to the world of Kla’ din, Cat and one of the Nightwolf teams encounter three sexy ruling cousins who believe Cat is their mate. Draugralls (bad vamps), dragons (good guys), a dire wolf (werewolf in mid shift), Cat's favorite rock band, sorcerer-rulers, more fae beings, portals, dark arts practitioners, seductions and a kidnapping compete for our attention in this installment.

The second book in the series, Nightwolves on the Prowl takes up where Nightwolves Coalition leaves off. We are reunited with Cat and her mates, her brothers and sisters, her sons and her military counterparts. The book opens with Cat and company in Japan looking for a suspected portal. When Cat steps through the portal she steps into a world that will change her life.

We get a look at other worlds in this book, including Cat's own world. Without giving too much away, we do find that, yes indeed

Nightwolves on the prowl. #2 in the series by Clarrissa Lee Moon. Now, like always, no spoilers, no teasers as to the plot except for this: Watch out Japan, Cat’s coming and she worse than a barrel full of earthquakes! That being said, the book is written in a raw, vibrant style that takes no compromises, makes no excuses. You either take it on the chin or you walk away. This book has plenty of action, sex, and violence. Moon doesn’t back off, doesn’t apologize for how she writes, which is full ...more

Book two in the Nightwolves series is full of surprises. Cat and her crew are sent to Japan to investigate a portal that has opened. When they cross through they find the first group of "others" that isn't intent on ruling/destroying our world. Kla'din is a strange and beautiful desert world very reminiscent of ancient Egypt with a group of rules intent on having Cat as their mate. Well, since she already has three - that may pose quite the problem.

The human bad guys are amping up their efforts

Nightwolves on The Prowl by Clarrissa Lee Moon is an exciting sequel. Cat and the Nightwolves continue to fight hard against unknown obstacles as they save the world from certain doom. This saga is not your everyday run of the mill vampire series, but a rare treat. Cat, her mates, and family are demi gods in vampire form, and Clarrissa's creativity builds the imagination of new worlds, allowing the reader's mind to explore the possibilities.

The sequel is as action packed and descriptive as Night

Recommends it for: Adults
Very lively 2nd book in the 'Memoirs of the Nightwolves Series'! I enjoyed it. It follows with the same brash, raw voice as book 1. It's leans towards more paranormal action, but there is 'mating' in it - sensual, sexy, spicy. Looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

I only read this book because I bought the 2 books at the same time. This one was more interesting, going alot more into detail about family and love. Both of them seemed as though I came in in the middle of a conversation, getting little snippets of the past throughout the book.
Again alot of lecturing about religion and how horrible our government is, as I said on the first review I am torn because despite all this it is a good story. Like looking at a car wreck, you just want to see what happe
