My son is obsessed with Peppa Pig and her family, and here, I insert "Daddy Pig" instead of "Farmer Pig" and we both think it's hilarious. Charlie Cat is not a very good helper, and neither is Pig at the end, either. A fun book for a 4-year-old.

Eh, the lure of the classic Richard Scarry... Not the best, not the worst. The story itself is a bit flawed.

Reading this book to my Kindergarten class was the cutest thing ever. They were able to anticipate what was next and what the person did wrong that was helping Farmer Pig. I enjoyed seeing their minds move and watching them as they developed better reading habits. It was great! Good repetitious book for younger children.
