There is some sober, logical open-minded analysis of some phenomena in our sexually dysfunctional society as well as proferring of solutions (the tenet that as a society we must punish only if a behavior truly harms another as opposed to sticking to tradition in forming our opinions) but the book is a little all over the place and the referring to homosexuality as a sickness so outdated and irksome that I'd probably not recommend the book.
