Another therapist recommended this book to me. "I have all my parents read it," she told me. Imagine my surprise when I located the book at Borders in the Business Management section. And then my surprise when the book read like a novel.
I guess it is a novel. It has a plot, characters, loads of stories. At first I even thought it was based on real life, but it's fake. In essence it is the explanation of a theory of inter-personal relationships written like a novel and set at a large ...more

I loved this self-help book because it blamed everything done wrong on a fictional character not me! Seriously, it allowed to be more open to it's message because I didn't feel attacked. It is not always easy for me to take responsibility for all my actions; this book gave me the insight to try to do so.

I got to chapter four and then decided to start over so I could read it with Warren. It's a bit cheesy, but they make some good points. I think that Warren could use it to improve his management style, but I also feel it applies to my parenting and befriending style as well.
My good friend recommended this book after her first semester at college, and I was really impressed with it. It's a secular, business-like approach to practical and oft-forgotten values of love, change, consideration, and the like.

I was given this book by a colleague. I find it very interesting and have really thought about how I make decisions in the work place...am I in or out of the box? I highly recommend.

getting out of the box is something that takes effort and is worth doing. Staying out of the box takes alot of work but is worth trying to obtain. Practic is the key.

Good book that talks about how to deal with situations/relationships. It's written for a work-based environment, but it can be applied to any relationship.

Incredible book!
Great insights into the concept of self-deception and the way it affects both personal and professional life.
