This book made me think about how I've been depressed for (?) years and how I wish it would stop and it doesn't. It makes me sad that a large group of people (readership/author) can identify with these thought patterns. I wish the world (specifically America(specifically America when you're poor(specifically America when you're poor and bad at relating to people and have some form of mental illness (maybe) and no options or prospects out of your socio-economic or mental/behavioral circumstance)

There's a repetition here, in brevity, that makes this feel much more like coherent work than FROWNS NEED FRIENDS TOO, which I guess it is because FROWNS was a poetry collection and this is a small book that has chapters I guess? It's really hard to categorize Sam Pink's writing as anything other than "Sam Pink's writing" which is part of what's interesting about it I think.
