I don't like my UF heroes quite so alpha as the one in this book, but otherwise, a pretty good read.

OH MY! Mr. Kane delivers a thrilling start to a series where unbeknown to most humans there exists a world within our world where a shadow of a government of vampires, werewolves, elves, trolls and spiritual forces, live and rule.

The UF version of an action movie: plenty of action scenes, not much character development.

I found the story difficult to believe in, but the action is fun.
