I thought this book was the best in the series. Theodosia Browning is the main character (a modern day Nancy Drew type) in this series. It usually revolves around happens in Charleston or the immediate area. Theodosia owns a tea shop named Indigo Tea Shop. Drayton Conneley is a master tea blender. Haley is their baker and cook-she makes alot of mouthwatering recipes that are listed in the book. Her boyfriend is Jory Davis. During the Ghost Crawl that Theodosia agreed to host Jory's Uncle J...more

Theodosia Browning, the owner of the Indigo Tea Shop in Charleston, South Carolina, once again finds herself in the middle of a murder mystery. The murder plots are getting kind of boring to me. What I like best about this series are the discussions about the tea shop, the different kinds of teas that are brewed there by her master tea-blender, Drayton, the food that her chef, Haley, serves and the recipes at the end. She could write just about that and I would enjoy it just as much.

Another in the tea mystery series with Theodosia Browning and her two tea shop co-workers. Another murder involving friends of Theo, again she is asked to help as a favor, again her life is threaten as she attempts to solve the murder.

It is another good read in the series with the various subplots involving the established characters in the series.

I've read all of the books in this series about Theodosia Browning, who owns a quaint teashop in Charleston, South Carolina. I love the interesting tidbits that the author gives about the Low Country and tea in general. The books have piqued my interest in visiting the Historic District in Charleston and roaming around the cobblestone streets.

I read this for my book club and we all read a different Childs' book from this series, Tea Shop Mysteries. The recipes in the books are wonderful and not so exotic that the average person without a French culinary degree can not accomplish. If you really like the straight-laced series mystery stories you should give this a go.

In the back of every book in this series there are recipes and little tidbits about tea. I read this series when I have nothing else to read. A fellow librarian calls those types of books "cozy mysteries". I like the series but I wouldn't say I LOVE it.

Just my kind of cozy mystery to read on a cold, blustery day. I've enjoyed all of this series I've read so far and look forward to reading more by Laura Childs.

Sometimes I think I almost like the catering and themed tea sub-plots almost more than the mystery itself. An enjoyable read, as always.
