Stilted and oddly constructed dialogue, goofy and contrived names, extraneous details that are repeated constantly (filler maybe?) and uninspiring characters. A litany of name-dropping that contributes nothing to the story and appears to serve only as a way to make pop culture references (hello, Manolo Blahnik shoes!)

Another in the Theodosia Browning and her two tea shop employees mysteries. In this one a man is shot and killed during a fund raiser and Theo and her friends star investigating to determine who did it and why. As usual, there are a number of twists and turns, many possible suspects as Theo works her way through the mystery.
These tea shops mysteries have been an interesting read and are packed with a lot of information regarding teas.

A tea shop mystery. The accounts of the teas and the treats that Theodosia serves are more entertaining than the mystery itself.

This is a cute book, but unreal ... not the most exciting book, but okay.
