It was my dumb choice to read this one immediately on the heels of another Schurfranz Sunfire, and the utter sameness of both books almost drove me to forfeit a PBS credit and rip this puppy up into a thousand pieces. I'm really glad I only read 2 books in this series when I was a tween, because if I had read any of Schurfranz' books - and liked them! - I'd be seriously wondering about the intellectual tastes of my younger self.

I've owned this one for years, which didn't really put it at the top of the list for the Great Sunfire Re-Read, but I went ahead and forced it down while waiting for some others to arrive in the mail.
