Exit – Review by Martha A. Cheves, Author of Stir, Laugh Repeat
“Life is an opportunity, benefit from it.
Life is a beauty, admire it.
Life is bliss, taste it.
Life is a dream, realize it.
Life is a challenge, meet it.
Life is a duty, complete it.
Life is a game, play it.
Life is costly, care for it.
Life is wealth, keep it.
Life is love, enjoy it.
Life is mystery, know it.
Life is a promise, fulfill it.
Life is sorrow, overcome it.

Exit is the story of Ondine, a woman who’d been sleepwalking through life until the moment she receives a diagnosis of leukemia. In that instant, everything changes.
I loved Ondine’s character and I think many women, regardless of health, can relate to her. However, I wish the story had focused more on her and more on the present. Liliana Badd writes beautifully but the story format was kind of all over the place for me. We got too deep into the life stories of various characters, fr More...

This book is recommended for people who like French intellectualism.
Like the work No Exit, by Jean-Paul Sartre, Liliana Badd’s book Exit is an examination of life.
While Sartre’s famous quotation says hell is other people, Ondine learns it is indifference to people that is truly hell. After being diagnosed with leukemia, Ondine’s eyes are open to her own suffering and that of orphans and prostitutes around the world.
Brava to Liliana Badd for her bravery in tra More...

EXIT was a great read and very beautifully written. The story was written in a way that allows the reader to see each and every character to appear realistic.
Watching Ondine to find out who she really is was wonderful. Overall, this was a great book to read and I would recommend that others read it also.
Dream 4 More Reviews received a copy of the book from the author.

Alexis Feyou (renowned author, artist, inventor) : "If injustice constitutes the essence of life all over the world, it is, however, from innumerable varied acts of courage and belief that the social life evolves." Liliana Badd, in her latest Novel titled EXIT, p.330.
"Great book to read. Helps us better understand our world."
Liliana Badd: "Thank you, Alexis. This coming from you... makes me feel HONORED."
