An interesting work of suspense that really showed off the author's knowledge of the Russian mob in Brooklyn, the seamier side of the NYPD, and Yonkers suburban life.

What a great read. I have already put holds on Dee's other books at the local library. I can only hope they live up to "The Con Mans Daughter" Maybe I will just look for books with Daughter in the title from now on. "The Generals Daughter" was excellent as well.

Ed Dee is the real deal -- an ex-cop who knows the streets, knows the job, knows the vernacular. If you like police procedurals, all of Ed's books are worthy of your attention.
