Fourteen year old Allie Morrison is looking forward to spending the summer with her father in Los Angeles. Since her parents divorced, she rarely sees him. For that matter she never sees her mother either, even though she lives with her. Her mom is too busy at work or on dates, Aliie lives basically on her own. The day before she is to fly to the West Coast, her dad cancels the trip because his wife is pregnant, and having a baby soon. From hearing the bad news Allie won't be able to attend Cali...more

Very quick fluffy read. I really enjoy those kind of books though. They make me feel happy. Which frankly is what we should want. So I will stay with my silly fluffy books. Also this one had some pretty funny moments too.

It was a good book. A quick read. Very girly. Nothing to special. The whole series is good. just doesn't stick with you like some books do.

Not much. I don't recommend. I don't like it and it was too immature for me. I'm sticking to books about people my own age from now on. 1/5 stars.

Recommends it for: Every hopeless romantic!
This is an incredible book! I thought because it was a tiny book that there wouldn't be time to develop characters and a great plot. Yet, I was proven wrong! I loved the characters, and I loved how the main character Allie developed throughout the book! The plot was also really cute, and there were times when I couldn't stop smiling!!! I would recommend this to anyone who wants to read a quick love story, that will make you want to read it all over again!

Didn't really like it as much as the others (which were okay). I found the character really self invovled, and really annoying. And I rolled my eyes and scoffed so many times I have a headache ad my throat hurts.

It was so...cheesy and stupid (in a humorous way). It's just 14 year olds being stupid and boy crazy

I didn't like this book. I thought Allie was too into herself and gave up on the book after 30 pages.

I liked this book because I found the story believeable and relatable.

I myself, went through the things she did but I'm not really a material girl as she seemed to be.

a pretty nice book. you should definitely read it if you're looking for a book to read. it isn't all that great, but if you have nothing better to read, then this is a good choice.
