"Hold onto your head! Editor Jason Sizemore loads a shotgun with futuristic stories, puts the barrel against your brain and pulls the trigger... Standouts in this sf anthology include James Reilly's Terra Tango 3, Jennifer Pelland's Personal Jesus, and Michele Lee's Meat World. These stories are cutthroat, sinister, sometimes lonely and always disturbing."

It takes bold and daring authors to delve deep into the recesses of human fears. The authors featured in ‘Dark Futures’ have brought to life, kicking and screaming, the darkest of dark futures imaginable. As with all things, there must be balance and it’s healthy to explore the darkness without and within (with the trusty flashlight or candle by your side!) presented in these stories. Dystopian stories are on the rise and the ‘Dark Futures’ anthology will serve to whet your appetite.

It’s an isolated area with beautiful rolling hills, thick forests, and country folk. I lived in Big Creek until I went to college, spending my weekends cruising the Winn Dixie parking lot of ladies, partying in my cousin’s run-down three room trailer, and being a member of the bad-...more
