When i recieved this book for our school from this author I was FLOORED! It is one of the most beautiful books i have seen. THe colors are rich and bright and really pulled me to it. The instuctions and lessons inside are easy to follow and easy to understand. It teaches everything you would want to know about drawing angels. It is definitly worth picking up. Our art teacher was amazed at the ideas and teachings of this author. I would highly recommend if you are into drawing at all and if your...more

Here's a book dedicated to drawing angels by Angela R. Sasser.
The book has four chapters, covering the art materials (primarily colour pencils and watercolor), drawing and designing the characters, creating the background and includes 8 step-by-step demonstrations at the back.
On the character design of angels, you get to learn how to draw the different parts of an angel, things like wings, halos, clothing, weapon and other ornaments. The subject is seems well re...more
What a beautiful book. The art is wonderful but the best part is the clear instructions and helpful illustrations. I waited to review this book until I could get into my studio and give it a 'test spin' so to say. I found it incredibly helpful and informative. Hope to find a fairy and a fantasy book that is equally wonderful.

I am an artist based out of Atlanta, Georgia. I spent much of my life traveling as a military brat. It was overseas in Germany at a young age that I fell in love with my first taste of fantasy in the collected stories of the Grimms Brothers and Hans Christian Andersen. I grew up with the dream that one day I might be able to follow in their footsteps and tell stories to awe and terrify future gene...more
