I am going to agree with those who have come before me. This book was in need of editing.

How did I find so many YA books? I don't know but I seem to be in a strange slump...

The author could choose to go back, add some umph to this book, edit it, and it would be awesome! But as it is, unedited, underdeveloped characters, confusing schemes and all, it isn't that good.

If you are younger, don't understand grammar really well, and are looking for a weird Harry Potter meets the Vampire Diaries...this

I read this book because it was free on my Kindle (and I couldn't get another book to download while I was on vacation), but honestly I don't know why I finished it. This book was obviously self-published and in GREAT need of editing. The author had a good premise and some interesting ideas, but the writing was very amateurish (not to mention that the grammar was horrible). Hopefully the author keeps writing and gains some experience (and does some editing) before she puts more books on Amazon.

The potential of the story line is frequently lost in the over abundance of grammatical and punctuation errors and the sometimes rambling, incoherent structure. This book needs proof-reading and editing. I won't be reading the rest of the series because the first was just too painful to focus on.

This book was extreamly short and was really random. It was more like the author gave the publishers a ruff draft. All the events happened way to quickly. Not to mention the romance in the book. She meets the guy, conner, he saves her, then they're suddenly kissing. WTH?

I didn't care for this. Plot may have been decent if fleshed out more, but it read like a first draft, very sketchy on details.

Would have liked it to be a bit longer. The story was really good. Eagerly awaiting the sequel.

I have been writing since I was young. I started in horror, but eventually found I was mixing many genres into one story. A lot of my work can be classified as Urban Fantasy with hints of Romance. I also have some very spicy work out there that is Erotic in nature. :)
