Shelves: non-fiction, history
Pretty damn comprehensive, a decent read (although occasionally a little dry at times), the chapters were well set out for a sound examination of different aspects of the period . . . except for one clunky chapter in the centre about the issues of oral/social history. That one might have been better as part of an opening or prologue or something.

Turns out I didn't know much about the Depression in Australia, and now I know more.
