Oh man, sign me up to crash land on a planet full of hot, sexy, and alpha males with the strength of an ox. Ms. Norris takes you from one hot adventure (literally) to hot sex and there's barely time to catch your breath. Samantha Grier and Griffin might be worlds apart, but they're well matched in each other and for all Sam is small, she packs one helluva punch. Combine their dangerous home with action and suspense, and you have one hot story to carry you along. Great read.

This was definitely not to my taste. I loved the idea of it, sci-fi elements clashing with the fantasy but in the end it just didn't work for me.

We have mate trope which at the start was an interesting idea as it was a choice that the two main characters decided on but then there was an odd 8 month jump in time where everything seemed to fall apart.

We get information in flash backs but Griffin seemed to forget what the idea of bonding was and he did things that out in out physically caused harm

Samantha's ship crash lands on a desert like planet and they are rescued by Griffin and the other villagers that are the remnants of slaves abandoned there a long time ago, who aren't too sure about Samantha and her crew. The problem is Samantha is Griffin's mate and now they have to see if they can move beyond the prejudices. There's a conflict that might have been cleared up if they would talk to each other, but that's a big "might" because the person that started the conflict really knew what ...more

Samatha's spaceship crashes on a planet and the ship's crew finds out that there is a colony of people there, genetically created by another race that had used them as slaves and later abandoned them. Samatha and Griffon, leaders for each of their groups follow their mutual attraction and form a mating bond, while also trying to keep their people from tearing their fragile peace between the groups to shreds.

Sam's a girl after my own heart, who can open a can of whoop-a if she has to, usually on

I had such high hopes for this, but those hopes were dashed when the book jumped eight months with no explanation and leaves you scratching your head thinking WTH happened? The hero and heroine were supposedly supposed to be insta-mates and have that woohoo, yay bond but then due to a little birdie whispering in the ear of the hero, he disbelieved the heroine and didn't confront her or trust the bond. To me it didn't feel like a true bonding and they weren't true mates. It could have been handle ...more

Great read . Lots of action and a little romance . Crash landed on an alien planet no hope but who knew the natives are friendly.

Some of the language she uses for sex scenes made me laugh out loud. I don't think that was the point though...

(★½) Hmmm, NTM author and I generally love sci-fi erotica but this didn't quite do it for me. Read it years ago but do recall thinking the beginning had potential but the story sort of fell apart by the end. Disappointing.

Kris sees herself as somewhat obsessive and feels she tends to push the boundaries of common sense sometimes. Her friends graciously see her as passionate and adventurous. After all, speed limits are only a guideline and shouting is just her way of rising above the chaos. Kris loves the outdoors. If she's not on her computer— or chasing after her three kids— she's out on a trail somewhere, either ...more
