I've read this book over at least 15 times cover to cover and I keep coming back. Each time I get a new case, I scour the book for the smallest tidbits of wisdom and work to apply the information to my clinical work. The Restoration Therapy approach is rooted in the tradition of Contextual Therapy, and yet restoration therapists are different than contextual therapists. This is targeted to professionals, but as a layman I liked the way this academic approach provided some literature context leading into the core concepts. really, it's quite the read. good clear discussion. pleasantly dry with reinforcing repetition.
