This is the best book I ever read since Sister Soljah's Coldest Winter Ever. It is full of adventure and gives an accurate description of what the ancient africans (Kemetians/Kushites) lived and interacted with over people in the world. Plus this book speaks to me because the hero is strong intelligent black man in his mid 20s which I can relate to. If I could give it ten stars I'd most definitely would

My favorite of the Memnon series. Sword and Soul at it's best.

After I read the glossary, but before I read the story itself, I wrote a two-star review (now since deleted) saying that its terrible history distracted from the story. I still think that the author makes many dubious historical claims (black Africans settling in China and Mesoamerica?), but now that I've actually read his story, my opinion of the book has been raised...a little. Sword and Sorcery with a twist. The protagonist in this engaging action adventure tale embarks on a quest to find his father, Memnon, who fought in the Trojan war.

Another gem from Gregory "Brother G" Walker with a Sword and Soul adventure based on the character of Nimrod from far antiquity! If you liked "Shades of Memnon", you are sure to enjoy "Nimrod the Hunter".

This was an enjoyable read from start to finish and I'm certainly looking forward to the next episode in the series!

Great book. There were times, I felt the young warrior's pain & suffering. A must read series.

I was on the train yesterday and was reading as a little boy read a Harry Potter book. What better way to increase one's knowledge and imagination, but through books, art, etc.
