“Growing Your Own Turtleneck” by Martha Bolton is a collection of short, humorous stories on the subject of getting older. A seasoned writer, who wrote for Bob Hope, Ann Jillian and others, the author presents a variety of essays that are amusing and sometimes insightful. It uses the same style as her other books; quotes from famous people and personal experiences.

Humorous look at aging. The book consisted of short stories that gave you a laugh, putting life in perspective. I enjoyed reading her stories. It was easy to pick up for 10 to 15 minutes and put down again. No stress to rush through.
