Sleeping Giant is generally a good story with plenty of suspense. There were some distractions that took away from the overall enjoyment, One is that, while jumping around in time is an effective device at times, at others it is just confusing and frustrating. The other, minor, pet peeve is that at some points Kuntz goes to extreme degrees to describe an action in detail ad nauseum, such as making a bridle, but then gets some obvious basic information flat wrong.
