The hunt begins for Cynan Aurelius, Arthur s greatest traitor, the murderer of his first wife, Rhonwen. And it is Bedwyr who risks his life to track the traitor into the land of the Picts. Arthur may be dying: ambushed outside of Luguvalos, where he married his new bride, and going home to Caer Cadwy, he is attacked and seriously wounded by Aurelius and the Caw Clan.

I can hear the clash of sword and shield as men fight and die for honor, for country and even for love. The men of Arthur's Clan Bear are no longer just names--they have become living, breathing figures whom I have grown to care about, and when ...more

I am captured by these books and only through book four. I bought the next and final six books as I know that I have to finish them. The brutal warring, abuse of women and power hungary Bear all tied to three central characters. Can the two control the mad Snake enough to be trusted for he is a monster and they know it? Will Fox and Marc ever have a normal life together or is one destined to die? Arthur is the war wizard but a bumbling fool when he is lead by his dick for cunt. The answers are ...more
