I don't know if this book is rated young adult, but if it isn't, it should be. It's a good read, but it's simple and only took me a couple hours. I like Morgan Llywellyn's books for the descriptions and the complexities of character, and those were mostly lacking here. Like I said, it's a simple read. Not a waste, and it was enjoyable, but not amazing.
