This is just like any other how-to-learn-a-language book, except that the language is spoken by a whopping 500-odd people and has exactly zero currency outside of Norfolk Island. Norfolk is now considered an endangered language, falling into disuse even on the island itself, and this book is part of an attempt to revive it. I'm sure people who are traveling to the island, or who want to learn Norfolk for some other reason, would find it useful. Though Norfolk is largely based on English, it's fa ...more
